The Joan E. Matzo Comfort Shawl Project

Combining the love of knitting and crocheting into helpful work that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace at times of loss or illness, this project is an effort to provide donated shawls to hospice paitents. We got off to a great start and we are now in our second year. We have received over 693 shawls to date. We are recieving requests on a regular basis for these shawls and if you can knit or crochet we ask you to help or if you would like to donate funds, yarn or your time please contact Marianne Matzo at (405) 271-1491, ext 49160.
