Traditional BSN and LPN-BSN students

Step 1:  Apply for RN License

Licensure

Graduates from our Traditional BSN, LPN-BSN and ABSN tracks will receive assistance with their initial licensure.

Licensure in the state of Oklahoma consists of:

• An application for licensure to the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.  This application will cost approximately $85 and will be due 2 months before graduation.
• A new/current OSBI background check.  This will cost $15 and will need to be renewed within 3 months of submitting your application to the Board of Nursing.
• NCLEX registration.  This will be completed online prior to graduation.  Current registration fees are $200.

If you are moving out-of-state following graduation you need to inform Margaret Robinson at the Oklahoma City campus.  Ms. Robinson will assist you in obtaining and completing the necessary forms.

Masters

Graduates from all MS programs will receive graduation packets in the mail during their last semester of the program.  Items included:

• Graduate Inquiry
• Awards Nomination Form
• Information regarding Graduation Ceremony/Supplies

Your Graduate Outline and Admission to Candidacy Form will be completed with the Office of Student Affairs.  You will receive the completed Outline in the mail and you will need to return the signed outline.
