Sarah Babcock Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to honor the memory of Sarah Elane Babcock, whose life-long dream of joining the nursing profession as a registered nurse was cut short by a tragic automobile accident in her freshman year at the University of Oklahoma.

Applicants must be students who were originally admitted to the University of Oklahoma through the Alternative Admission program and show promise of being able to succeed in the Nursing program. Financial need may be a consideration; however, the primary consideration for selection will be evidence of the applicant's personal motivation and drive to become a nurse. Therefore, all applications must be accompanied by a one page essay illustrating these characteristics.

This scholarship is available only to undergraduate students.
