OU Parent's Association Outstanding Senior Award

Each year the OU Parent’s Association recognizes the All-Around Outstanding Senior Man and Senior Woman at the University. Additionally, the Association presents an Award of Merit to the Outstanding Senior of each undergraduate college as selected by the college dean. The selection procedure for the Outstanding Senior in each college is at the discretion of each dean, but is based on outstanding achievement in the following areas: scholarship, donors, awards, leadership and service to the university and community. The All-Around Outstanding Senior Man and Senior Woman are selected by a committee comprised of faculty, staff and students. All applications from each college are considered for this honor.

To be eligible for consideration, a student must have earned a 3.25 grade point average and be scheduled to receive his or her Bachelor’s degree in December 2007, May or August 2008.

Recipients should be notified by October 26, 2007 and recongnized at an Outstanding Senior Awards Ceremony at 5 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007 and during the OU/Baylor game on Saturday, November 10, 2007 (Family Weekend).

Read the scholarship directions carefully. Fifteen (15) copies of your application must be submitted to the Dean's Office at the following address:
