Masters - Post Masters Certificate

With modern demands in the healthcare industry we are receiving increased interest from nurses that want to return to school to obtain additional training in another graduate-level area of study. For example, a student may have graduated many years ago with a Masters degree in Nursing Education. That same student may now wish to return to school to receive their Nurse Practitioner's license. The University of Oklahoma College of Nursing is privileged to offer that student an opportunity to receive a post-master's certificate in their new pathway. Enrolled students are often exempt from the core curriculum requirements and are able to quickly complete their pathway specific courses.

Admission requirements, however, often remain competitive. Students are urged to thoroughly review the pathway requirements of their new field as they may be significantly different from their first degree track.

Available Pathways

Notice: Students may not enroll in nursing courses unless they are accepted in and committed to completing a specific pathway.
